U.S. Peace Corps (’86 –’88) - International Community Development Volunteer

Two year assignment in Dogondoutchi, Niger, in sub-Saharan West Africa. Served with Ministry of Mines and Energy on a national environmental conservation project involving improved cookstoves and forestry conservation. Community education presentations, mobilization of trainees, hands-on training sessions and networking in rural and semi-rural areas of Niger, West Africa.
